Tom Facchine

Imam Tom Facchine is an American convert scholar who embraced Islam in 2010 while studying political science at Vassar College. He graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah's College of Shariah in 2020, then served as imam of Utica Masjid in upstate New York, ministering to a largely refugee congregation. He now serves as Research Director of Islam and Society at the Yaqeen Institute. His lectures and popular online commentary address Islam and modernity, secularism, converts' issues, and confident Muslim identity in the West.
