Shadee Elmasry

Shaykh Dr. Shadee Elmasry is an American scholar of Egyptian heritage, born and raised in New Jersey. He studied the Islamic sciences with scholars in the US, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco, and earned a PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of London (SOAS), writing on the da'wah of early Muslim communities. He is the founder and head of Safina Society, an institution for traditional Islamic education in New Jersey, teaches at masjids across the tri-state area, and hosts the popular "Nothing But Facts" (NBF) podcast addressing contemporary issues from a traditional Sunni perspective.
