Why Life Is Full of Tests

About this lecture

In this Friday khutbah, the speaker explains why life is inevitably filled with trials and why Muslims should never be caught off guard by difficulty. Drawing on the Quranic concept of *musiba* ("that which hits the mark"), he outlines two key reasons calamities occur — as reminders to repent, or as a means of elevation in Paradise through *sabr* — and illustrates the highest levels of patient trust in Allah through the examples of Haji Imdadullah, Prophet Ayyub, and the final days of the Prophet ﷺ. The lecture encourages listeners to shift from complaint to practical, faith-grounded action whenever hardship strikes.
