Zahir MahmoodShaykh Zahir Mahmood is a British scholar and orator, born in England to parents of Pakistani heritage. He completed the traditional 'alimiyyah program in the UK and abroad, and is the founder and principal of As-Suffa Institute in Birmingham, which runs seminary programs, community services, and one of the UK's notable Islamic outreach and humanitarian operations. He is famous for his passionate historical lectures — on figures like Salahuddin, Muhammad al-Fatih, and the Sahaba — and for khutbahs on Muslim dignity, community service, and current affairs affecting the ummah.
