Yahya RhodusShaykh Yahya Rhodus is an American scholar and the founding director of Al-Maqasid, a traditional Islamic learning institution in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Born in Kansas City, he embraced Islam in 1996 and studied for years in Mauritania and then in Tarim, Yemen, at Dar al-Mustafa under Habib Umar bin Hafiz and the scholars of Hadramawt, later continuing studies with scholars in the Hijaz. He has taught at Zaytuna College and serves as a senior teacher of the Ba 'Alawi tradition in the West, lecturing on spirituality, theology, and the prophetic way with a focus on the sciences of the heart.
