Usama Canon – Rising to the Occasion

About this lecture

In this warm and energetic pre-Ramadan talk, Usama Canon encourages Muslims to move beyond a surface-level understanding of fasting and to embrace Ramadan as a spiritual school for self-discovery and growth. He offers two practical pieces of advice — reconnecting with the Quran and reconnecting with the Muslim community — while calling on young Muslims in particular to demand their rightful place in the *ummah* and rise to the occasion as a light for humanity.
