About this lecture

In this khutbah, Nouman Ali Khan delivers a detailed tafsir of the final three ayat of Surah Al-Jumu'ah, exploring why Allah commands believers to rush to Friday prayer and leave off all distractions — especially the temptation of a lucrative sale. Walking through all three sections of the surah, he connects the Prophet's ﷺ four-fold mission to the four names of Allah, warns against the spiritual decay that befell previous nations, and shows how Jumu'ah is one of Islam's greatest weekly simulations of the Day of Judgment.
