   JazakhAllah khiran for sich an informative lecture. Having know many women who have been abused and had their life ruined by their husbands, I totally encourage the idea of the society having to step in straight away when violence starts. And I’m very happy to hear that Allah does not encourage hitting for the relatively small errors that many wives may do by mistake. Of course Allah’s rules have to be perfect.

   Alhumdulillah What a practical and logical approach to the subject I myself have looked at the question in this regard that in contrast to what has been happening in society throughout the ages to the present time in what can be described as some of the most horrific crimes of passion , Allah s w t has advised restraint to the point of mild rebuke followed by intervention in a balanced manner from legitimate sources.. Some scholars have even suggested the usage of one of the other meanings of ” DARABA “which would imply leaving the women alone or withdrawing or putting a veil between with the intention i would assume of revisiting the problem with cooler heads . So all in all , the recommendations of AL HAKIM is unmatched The end to the verse says it all . SubhaanAllah
