Navaid AzizShaykh Navaid Aziz is a Canadian scholar of Pakistani heritage, raised in Montreal. He graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah with a degree in Islamic law, and serves as the Director of Religious and Educational Development for the Islamic Information Society of Calgary. A former AlMaghrib instructor and chaplain, he is recognized for his work with youth, his podcast and seerah series, and his expertise in counter-radicalization, having advised law enforcement and courts on deradicalization. His lectures blend fiqh, mental health awareness, and community development.
