Khalid LatifImam Khalid Latif is the University Chaplain for New York University, Executive Director of the Islamic Center at NYU, and a chaplain for the New York City Police Department — appointed at age 24 as the youngest chaplain in NYPD history. Under his leadership, the ICNYU became the first established Muslim student center at an American university, a model replicated nationwide. He is a nationally recognized voice on Muslim life in America, mental health, marriage, and inclusive community-building, and co-founded Honest Chops, an ethical halal butchery in Manhattan.
