Ismail ibn Musa Menk

Mufti Ismail ibn Musa Menk, widely known as Mufti Menk, is a Zimbabwean Islamic scholar and one of the most followed Muslim personalities in the world, with tens of millions of social media followers. Born in Harare, he studied Shariah at the Islamic University of Madinah and specialized in iftaa (jurisprudence of issuing legal verdicts) at Darul Uloom Kantharia in Gujarat, India. He heads the fatwa department of the Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe (Majlisul Ulama Zimbabwe). His motivational lectures and daily reminders, delivered in simple and uplifting language, reach audiences across the globe, and he was named among the world's 500 most influential Muslims.
