Abdullah Hakim Quick – Revival of the Ummah

About this lecture

In this powerful lecture, Sheikh Abdullah Hakim Quick presents a seven-point plan for Islamic revival and traces the remarkable, often-overlooked legacy of Islam across the African continent — from the first Hijrah to Abyssinia and the empires of Mali and Timbuktu, to the Muslim scholars who preserved their faith under the horrors of slavery in the Americas. Drawing on history, Quranic guidance, and personal travel experiences, he calls on Muslims to reclaim their identity through knowledge, unity, and character, and to recognize that the Ummah carries within it the solution to the greatest crises facing humanity today.
