Dalia MogahedDalia Mogahed is an Egyptian-American scholar and researcher who serves as Director of Research at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU). She previously directed the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, co-authored the influential book "Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think" with John Esposito, and was appointed to President Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Her TED talk on Muslim identity is among the most-viewed on the subject, and she is one of the most prominent Muslim women voices in American public discourse.
