In this lecture, the speaker explores the Islamic concept of *ijbar* (compulsion) — what Islam teaches when a Muslim is forced to do something against their principles or even against the Shari'ah. Drawing on the stories of Ibrahim, Musa, Ammar ibn Yasir, Abu Dharr al-Ghaffari, and Quranic ayat on dietary laws and religious coercion, the speaker demonstrates that a consistent pattern throughout the Quran and Sunnah shows that when a believer is truly compelled, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. The lecture also addresses practical modern scenarios, including insurance, concealing one's faith in dangerous situations, and guiding the next generation through the challenges of living as a Muslim in the West.
