I very interesting lecture.
The analogy of Coca cola to trying and understand the mentality of materialism is very useful. It made me reflect.
I would recommend this to other Muslims and would say it needs to be watched with full concentration in order for full benefit.

Great lecture, but Constontine was a Christian, before that Christians were killed, and the Holy Roman Emprire was not until the 1200’s and was based in Germany. I don’t see the need to give false facts about these things because everything else is true about Christianity. But, these small lies discredit his speach.
Corporation and their exploits has been an interest to me lately… I’m still listening to the lecture, while I have so far agreed with the core of the message in general, I’m very unsettled by the broad paintbrush that this brother has painted on Americans.
It does lean to anti-Americanness. I disagree with this… many many people there are very against what their government and the corporations have been doing. Even if viewers could glean the core message, there would also be many Muslims who listen to this and make them more ‘anti-West’ illogically while pushing away the not-Muslims-yet who sees this as another Muslim pointing fingers. It pushes the conception that Islam = anti-West, but that’s a really sad stigma that Islam has been getting. Islam is universal and it’s about submitting to the Almighty. Not ‘Anti-West’.
I wished he used ‘bad corporations’ as opposed to ‘America’. People are corrupted, no matter they are Muslims or not.
