I would have to correct our dear brotheer noman’s mistake in saying that the issue of Allah being above his throne is not mentioned many times in the Qur’an when infact it was mentioned seven times as Imam Ibn Al qayyim points out and did he forget that the prophet(عليه السلام)in the authentic hadeeth hadeeth collected by Imam Muslim asked the slave to tell him where Allah is in order to see if she was a believer and when she pointed to the heavens he said”free her for she is a believer”.Based on what this brother says in his lectures,i am deeply worreied that he is not qualified to be teaching the sciences of the religion.
Brother Abdullah you misunderstood what he was saying. He said that Allah SWT did not ask that question and did not make a big deal out of it. And this is true.
Alhamduillah, Bro Nouman has mentioned many important issues that we Muslims have to deal with in the current situation with the Ummah. I have two young boys and I constantly fear for their deen. The type of knowledge that he is talking is so very important to be taught to us to help the next generation to come. Knowledge is Power. May Allah swt. grant us knowledge to seek His pleasure, ameen.

Brother Nouman has once mentioned a scholar named Dr. Fadhil al-Samarrai in one of his lectures titled ‘Words of advice for Arabic student’.
Eventually I found that there is a large no. of video lectures of that scholar in Youtube as well as in a site: http://www.islamiyyat.com/
The lectures are mainly regarding Linguistic analysis of Qur’an.
But the problem is that the lectures are in Arabic.
If that lectures are provided with English Subtitles then it will be of great use for the Muslims all round the world.
