I listened to this beautiful lecture sometime back but didn’t put any comment on it. After sometime, I realised that most of the lectures here are great….I can really relate to it. I’m a fan of this site in fact I’ve introduced this link to afew groups. May we remain steadfast in seeking knowledge and implementing it in our day to day lives.

I was also ortodox. It is truth, you have to stay (not sit down) sometimes 3 h for a mess…
Islam is not difficult, so lets practic the Sunnah and be thankful to Allah for such a wonderful religion.

Thank you Sk Hamza for another awesome lecture…you are at your best when you so accurately challenge the Ummah to give their best to Allah SWT. Very very inspiring to ‘be better’..yes, T-Shirts are ridulous and casual dress etc. in the West has really gotten out of control. I was at a 5 star hotel for a business trip/conference recently, and some American women came to breakfast in the fine dining restaurant in pyjamas, flip flops and T-shirts. Islam engenders dignity and respect…as you say. Allah Akbar!

Alhamdulillah, this is just what I needed as a reminder to remain diligent and stay the course. I can relate to the point regarding how we choose to spend our time. It is difficult for me to spend much time vegging out with tv or some passive activity especially when I look at our condition; myself, my family, the Muslim community and even the broader community. So much of the media perpetuates mindlessness and consumerism.
May Allah bless and reward you for all what you are doing in the cause of ALLAH and guiding the community
