   You stated that People in the past used hunter dogs to slaughter animals. My question is this: Isn’t dog’s saliva haram? Will that not affect the quality of the meat, in terms of Islamic values?

     dogs were trained to grab the animals in a way that their teeth would not thrust in the animal’s meat and it wouldn’t die. Then it can be slaughtered in islamic way.
