Tawhid is quite important, but I think we need to understand where it comes in. Often do we mistaken it as the only thing need changing, when the society changes by its thoughts, emotions and systems. Tawheed is individualistic but if we want social reform we need to adopt the Islamic ideology as our ruling and Social systems
