Bismillah.
Alhamdulillah.
We are proud to announce a new design we are working on for Halal Tube. We have launched the mobile-friendly design with more focus on search. We are going to be updating the site throughout the next coming weeks with better features. We are still working on many features but we wanted to get out the mobile-friendly version as soon as possible. There will be bugs and issues so if you find any do not hesitate to reach out to us.

We decided to add images for each lecture now to make it more visually appealing. The old homepage was very “old-school” and lacked life. We are planning to add a feature called “infinite scroll” which allows the page to be constantly updated similar to the Facebook feed. We also focused more on the search making it the center to emphasis the amount of content we have and the ability to search it.

We also added the same pictures on the speaker page next to each lecture. We also included the descriptions of lectures as well so you can get a preview of what it’s about.

We also did the same for the topic page with the pictures and descriptions. We hope this enhances the experience.
A lot is left to be done
We have a lot of work ahead:
- Add images and descriptions to every lecture.
- Improve the styling and layout of the comments
- Improve mobile version of the site
- Add more content on a regular basis
- Improve the lecture layout page
- Figure out how to use Instagram (We are on there now!)

Just a note that many of the older lectures which are available through the Google Player no longer work. Any chance of updating these?

Regarding the Google videos from many years ago, we will try to find them elsewhere and re-embed them inshaAllah!
Just to update, we have removed all the lectures with Google Video and found their YouTube version. The ones we couldn’t have been removed.

I have two suggestions
1.please try to make an android ,windows and ios apps.because people feel it Is easier to use halal tube on app also.
2.please allow us to download videos on lower data .videos are taking more data to download

Great suggestions, mashaAllah! We are working on building out native applications for mobile devices inshaAllah. We are not sure if they will be the same or a different type of application. One of your comments on data is interesting. We also have the audio version of almost every lecture. This greatly reduces the data and allows for users with poor connections to still listen to the lecture.
